Meet Tabitha: Author, Twin Mom, and Twin Advocate
Hi, I’m Tabitha! I create stories that help twins embrace their differences, grow in confidence, and navigate the joys and challenges of growing up.
I’m a passionate advocate for children, twin mom, and in creating inclusive spaces where every child feels seen and celebrated. With a background in business development, I’ve spent much of my career building programs that open doors for students, including global initiatives that have trained and certified thousands of young people in cybersecurity.
But beyond my work in the tech world, my heart lies in supporting twins and their families. I’m deeply committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), and bring a unique perspective shaped by my background in art therapy. My goal has always been to create environments where kids can thrive by embracing their individuality and finding confidence in who they are.
My journey as a children’s author began when my identical twin boys started kindergarten. I realized there was a lack of stories that truly represented the challenges and joys my boys were experiencing as twins. That’s when I knew I wanted to create books that were inclusive and reflective of twin experiences, not just for my boys, but for all twins.
Since then, I’ve been dedicated to writing stories that capture the unique journeys of twins, helping them feel seen and understood through the power of storytelling. My debut book, Ollie and Sam: Not Two of a Kind, celebrates individuality while honoring the special bond between twins. Through my stories, I hope to create a world where every twin feels valued, empowered, and celebrated for who they are.
I hope you join along!
Fun Facts!
Fun Facts!
There are four sets of twins and one set of triplets in my family!
My boys’ favorite ‘twin’ question is:
“Which one of you is older?”
(They have a fun answer!)
When my boys were little, they thought everyone had a twin (thanks to fun fact #1!) and asked everyone they met, “Who’s your twin?”
